This blog is a prime example when your passion and purpose cross paths and you find yourself doing things you never thought you were capable of.

Originally from the Chicagoland area, I spent 11 years teaching in public education before moving to South Carolina with my husband and two daughters, Emma and Hannah. Although I now work full-time in EdTech, my heart remains deeply rooted in education and finding ways to best support today's learners.

As an aspiring children's book author, I am passionate about empowering caregivers to support our young learners. I believe that there is so much magic in reading, and I am setting out to prove just that.
